Independent gaming studio · Scotland
Winchwork Studios is an independent Scottish creative studio working across game development, gaming communities and streamer brands.
Winchwork Studios
One studio connecting the game, the community around it and the creative work that helps it find an audience.
Original games and persistent online worlds designed, built and developed in public with their players.
Distinctive identities, campaign artwork and channel graphics for streamers, creators and gaming projects.
Practical social strategy, creator collaboration and community building informed by running our own projects.
Selected studio projects
Two different projects showing how we build, test and grow playable communities.
Eight players defend eight sky bases with no safe side. Brood Hens lay the eggs that fund your farm, animals and defences; rival players can cross the bridges to steal what you are carrying and shut down your income. Your base keeps growing between sessions, and losing your Rooster sets you back without knocking you out.
Follow development →
An open, persistent RPG world built to last. Classes, magic, custom mobs, quests and progression are being developed with early players helping to shape the world before launch.
Follow development ↗How we work
We do not separate making something from understanding the people it is for. Development, visual identity, streaming and community feedback all inform one another from the start.
That makes Winchwork small enough to stay hands-on and broad enough to take an idea from its first playable version to the screen where somebody discovers it.
Beyond the games
Creative support for streamers and gaming communities.
Stream graphics, channel identity and campaign artwork with a clear, recognisable voice.
Practical content direction and cross-platform promotion grounded in real creator experience.
Visuals, messaging and launch support that help gaming communities find their first true fans.
